The most interesting thing I've learned about my ancestor is how you would live back then. I've never really known how people's daily life would be like when there was a war going on, but now I've learned that by doing my Ancestor Project. I also learned how people travel to different countries while there was a war going on.

The most interesting thing I have learned about my ancestor is that he lived through the deppresion and seemed okay. And that he survived on selling his cow's milk and chicken's eggs and if he didn't have those animals, he wouldn't be alive.

The most interesting thing l learned about my Ancestor Project was learning about what it was like back when World War 1 was and what it was like to live after you had been in the war. l never knew much about my great-great grandfather, and l didn't know anything about him and he just seemed like a regular guy that wasn't very special. Until this past Remembrance Day, when my aunt googled his name.

One interesting thing I learned was that my great, great, grandad bred and tamed horses. He would catch wild ones, tame them and them sell them to make money. One other thing that I found interesting was that his son had the same name just with Jr. at the end. It is usually only with boys. There is one thing that I find more interesting than these two things but I will let you read about it tomorrow.

The most interesting thing I learnt from my ansestor project is that my great grandma was part of the war and she was running way. Something else that was interesting is that she actually was the only person in my family that was being hunted, her mom, dad, sister or brother were never even involved in the war.

The most interesting thing I've learnt about my ancestor is how he found ways to enjoy his free time, and it's so different from the ways we do it now. Because of their lack of technology. And how I got a lot of information even though he isn't alive anymore, and even when my grandfather (who I interviewed) doesn't remember a lot about him.

The most interesting thing about my Ancestor project would be the whole thing! I knew nothing about my grandpa, as I never met him. My dad rarely talked about him, because it was a soft topic, since his dad died when he was young. When I finished interviewing my dad, he said "He would've liked you very much." I found that interesting. I really do wish he was still alive.

I learned that I am very lucky to have what I have. My grandma didn't have Ipods or tvs back then she only played with her resources around her. I also learned I should appreciate that I have food and water and nice clothes because my grandma grew up after World War 2 and her family had very little money.
