A time where I have taken ownership of my learning was when I asked about a question I had in math before I did my homework so that I wouldn't get confused. Somewhere I have seen growth in my learning is in my reading. We have been in school for less than a month and I have already finished two large chapter books. I have also noticed that I am participating in a lot more things this year.

This past week we have, watched an entertaining circus preformance by Flying Bob, learned about common multiples in math, read chapters 6-10 in One For The Murphys and did a response to some of the questions, and we have writen about who our heros are and why. A time I took owner ship for my learning was before our test on Tuesday I studied and did reviews. Ive seen growth in my learning when we were taught the divsibility rule for 4 and 8 I got it a bit but I still had some trouble with it. Then I went home and studied it, and I ended up getting the question about it right on my test.

This past week we learned about writing and how to improve on it. Though some of us still need to work on it, especially when writing comments...

Over the weekend I worked on math divisibility rules and lots of writing. A time when I took ownership in my learning was when I was sick. Even though I did not know what questions Mrs.Farrell would assign I did questions 1 to 5 anyway. I have seen a growth in my leader ship because this year I am willing to help any person who asks. For example I finished my writing first and helped other people come up with ideas and helped them word it.

This past week, I have learned more things in math like the divisibility rules for 4 and 8 and how to identify least common multiples. I have taken ownership of my learning by still completing all of my homework when I come home from dance late, even though I just want to go to bed. I have seen growth in my math this week because I am really getting how the divisibility rules for 4 and 8 work.

One example of when I took ownership of my learning was when we did the response for the One for the Murphy's. Instead of leaving a short response I made sure to check for the givens while digging deeper and adding more details. Another way I took ownership of my learning was when we did art and I did not rush through the colouring. I would rather only get one part done well than get half done but look rushed.one area that I have noticed growth in my learning would be in my reading. When I went away I read a book in three hours and it usually takes me days or even weeks. I am really enjoying reading one for the Murphy's and can't wait to continue reading it.

The past week I never knew how to use google drive on the laptops. I had done it before on iPads but they're very different to use google drive on. I also never knew how to use kids blog, and I learnt that this week.

I have taken ownership by making sure I have left a comment on the website. I have done quite a good job on it. I have seen growth in my learning in math. I also think I'm doing good on that. I have also seen growth in my responsibility of getting stuff handed in.

I took ownership of my learning by putting more effort into my homework, instead of just rushing it. In the past week of school, I noticed that I get the questions in math easily.

I have learned a lot on making longer paragraphs in writing that will help me a lot in the future. Because you can describe a lot more with more work put into your writing.

A time where I took my ownership in my learning was trying not to have my homework done really late and try to have my homework done on the due date. Where I seen my growth was math because I am starting to know new things I haven't know and am now really good in math.
