Today we had a great time sharing different books we are currently reading. Many of us were eager and willing to share, as it is always exciting to share something we have enjoyed. Can't wait to read some of your book cars. Here is an example of a book card from Wonder, the book we read aloud last year. There were two parts to today lesson: some teacher modelling and independent student work. We were impressed with how focused the students were while they worked on task. Thanks to the iCharts we all know what our job is during our learning time. Division 4 and 5 had a group lesson on 'A NOVEL APPROACH'. Mrs. Jensen, Mr. Lewis, Mr. Hong, and Mrs, Farrell will be teaching both classes over the next few months. We are all looking forward to seeing the students continue their learning with different teachers! I really like how we came together as a class and allowed everyone a chance to shoot on the net, evening the little ones. This was great team sportsmanship being demonstrated on the ice.
